Morgan Silver Dollars

Morgan silver dollars were struck between 1878 and 1904, and again in 1921 — the coin of the American West, and the most collected US silver dollar there is. Each holds 0.7734 troy ounces of silver in a 90% silver alloy.

Sets Rather Than Singles

What we carry are graded and certified sets rather than loose coins: a PCGS MS65 five-coin set spanning 1878 to 1904, and the 2021 Morgan and Peace six-coin commemorative issue with box and certificate.

Sets price differently from individual Morgans. A certified set carries third-party grading on every coin, which removes the guesswork that makes buying raw Morgans risky — condition drives value far more than silver content on this series, and grading is what settles it.

Prices here reflect grade and certification rather than tracking silver alone, so they move with the collector market as much as with spot.

Holding Morgans already? We buy Morgan dollars for cash, graded or raw.
