The series consists of 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz gold coins in BU and Proof, as well as a 1 oz Burnished coin. Only the BU coins are mandated to be issued each year without fail.

All of these 1 oz American Gold Eagle Tubes come with a total of 20 coins inside. Each plastic tube holds coins from the 1 oz Gold Eagle Series. The date marks in this tube can vary from the first issue in 1986 to the latest issues in the 21st century. We do not guarantee specific date marks and cannot guarantee a variety of date marks or reverse designs on the coins in the tube you receive.

On the obverse of all American Gold Eagles is the image of Lady Liberty. Designed in 1907 by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, this visual shows the full-length figure of Liberty in front-facing relief. She is shown with a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other while sun rays fill the background field.

The reverse of 1 oz Gold Eagles features one of two designs. Coins issued from 1986 to early 2021 depict a family bald eagles in and around a nest. Coins issued as of mid-2021 depict the head of an American bald eagle in right-profile relief.
